Housekeeping of 1960 USSR

A piece out of the book about housekeeping of 1960 USSR:
"You should remember that you must be prepared when you husband comes back form his work. Wash the children, brush their hair and give them clean smart clothes. Children should get into line and greet and welcome their father when he enters. For this case you should put on clean pinner and try to look good - for example put a bow in your hair. Don't talk with your husband, because you should know that he is very tired and he is working every day for you. Give him food and after he will have read his newspaper you can talk to him."

Advices for men (the same book):

"After sexual act with your wife you should allow her to go to the bathroom. But you shouldn't go with her there, because she needs time to be alone. Probably she will want to cry..."
